Climate, Energy and Finance Workshop

General Information

The workshop organised by the House of Energy, Climate and Finance (HECF) brings together leading experts, researchers, and academics in the fields of energy, climate, and finance to explore the intersections of these crucial disciplines. The event promises engaging discussions, insightful presentations, and sample networking opportunities for participants.

Our programme is centred around four themes:

  • Climate policy with a special focus on the EU ETS
  • Financing the green transition
  • AI in energy markets
  • Enterprises and climate change

The two-day conference (25th and 26th March) includes plenaries, panels, contributed talks, and poster sessions. Obviously, there are opportunities to network with our conference sponsors, supporting partners, and other delegates.

The programme can be found here.

On Wednesday, March 25th there will be an outreach talk and a panel involving the general public. Details can be found here.

The conference will be sandwiched by a PhD spring school on March 24th (details can be found here) and a Practitioner course on March 27th (details can be found here).

There will be contributed poster sessions during coffee and lunch breaks on March 25th and March 26th. Both theoretical and empirical papers that relate to the topics of the conference are welcome.
