The seminars deal with the topic „Effects of Trading by financial actors on the EU ETS”.
Short description: The seminars will investigate the role of financial actors, such as banks and investors, in the EU Emissions Trading System and their role in determining price dynamics and volatility.

If you are interested in empirical work, please register for the seminar "Trading Room". If you are interested in theoretical work, please register for "Selected Topics in Risk Management".

Learning Targets:

Students

• are able to independently acquire specific knowledge in the area of risk management and are able to apply these knowledge to solve real word problems
• are able to write a scientific paper

Methods of Assessment:

Preparation of a seminar paper (~20 pages) and its presentation (~20 minutes).
